BOOKING POLICY
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Thank you for enquiring to book Nyammings Catering Ltd
To avoid any disappointment please book as far in advance as possible. We are not able to guarantee availability where short notice is included.
We want to ensure we can deliver the perfect Nyammings experience for you. All quotes are valid for 5 days however this will not reserve your date of choice. until you confirm you wish to go ahead, and we send the booking form confirmation.
General Bookings
A non-refundable minimum deposit of 50% or full payment is required to secure us for your event or function and until payment is received the booking will not be placed in our diary. Payment is due within 48 hours of booking invoice or payment link being sent.
All bookings require a minimum of 2 weeks’ notice subject to availability.
Please note that our latest booking timeframe for any catering request is a minimum of two weeks’ notice. Unless this is deemed as a late request or emergency booking request.
Emergency catering needs may be accepted based upon our diary availability which will be confirmed to you). We will require full payment for the booking to go ahead.
We may discuss alternative payment options if required, however this is not a mandatory option. Non-payment of the booking costs after 48 hours as per quoted booking form or invoice due date will be deemed as you no longer require our services and your request cancelled.
Any remaining balance must be paid and finalised at the latest two weeks before your event date. All payment information and dates will be provided to you via invoice or advised via email. If full payment is not received Nyammings hold and reserve the right to cancel the event from our diary and retain the deposit paid.
Corporate bookings will receive an invoice with booking details and payment information.
Any changes to initial menu choice after booking and receipt of invoice may incur additional charges. Any changes will be at our discretion.
Wedding tasters are chargeable, served and delivered as a cook ‘n’ drop takeaway style in food safe trays. This will contain a selection of dishes from the main course. If there are other specifics, please inform us and we can take this into consideration. If you decide not to use our services, we will invoice you for the cost of service to be paid prior to the drop off. Alternatively, if you go ahead, we will add this payment to the total cost of the booking.
Upon full payment being received we (Nyammings Catering Ltd) are agreeing to provide a catering service to you as per your request and confirmed by us for your event.
If you disagree with our terms and policies, please refrain from making any payment as this will not be refunded to you once received and your booking is confirmed in our diary.
Hired equipment – Self Service Bookings
Equipment and utensil use - Self serve buffets: A waiver form with an itemised checklist will be provided to you to sign to ensure all items are returned in the condition received.
By booking you agree with our Nyammings Catering Ltd policies and are agreeing to take responsibility for *any equipment hired and again agree to pay and cover the cost of for any missing, broken, or damaged items that may occur during your event.
Cook ‘n’ Drop Delivery & Food Safety
(Applicable to non-set up bookings)
All food ordered will be freshly prepared and delivered in food safe trays and labelled with an allergen notice. The food upon delivery maybe at room temperature or warm but not HOT. Therefore, you will need adequate heating facilities to warm up the food. Once the food has been safely delivered, it is now your responsibility in regard to handling and care. Our canapés can be eaten at room temperature however if you desire to warm them it’s always personal preference.
Delivery is free for locations within 10 miles of M23. Anything over will be charged at £1 per mile.
Our minimum portion for Cook ’n’ Drops is 10. If you have less guests, you will still be charged at this rate.
Cancellations
If you decide to cancel our service, we will retain the non-refundable 50% deposit or 50% of full payment. This is due to the fact we our time and resources would have been invested to prepare for your event or function. We may have discretion for any cancellations deemed unforeseen or extenuating circumstances and there may be options depending on availability to transfer to an alternative date/time, however this will be discussed. Again, we are not bound to this, and any decisions will be made and confirmed to you. We also reserve the right to cancel a booking and retain the 50% non-refundable deposit if deemed fit as per our business guidelines. We will give you an opportunity to resolve anything prior to us taking this step if within our set timeframe.
Our service to you is paramount. We strive for nothing but the best and to deliver a great and tasty experience for your event. Customer satisfaction is our highest priority. If you are not satisfied with our service, we will try to resolve any matter and discuss any issues with you once raised to us within the first 48 hours following the event.
